Over the past few weeks the Foodbank has received generous donations from the younger generation in our community.
The girls at Fairfield High School working towards the Archbishop of York’s young leaders award arranged a donation of food from students, families and friends. We thank them for their support and wish them well as they continue their work towards completing the award.
The staff and children at Space Station Nursery in Droylsden arranged a superheroes sponsored event to support the Foodbank. They collected an amazing £1,147.73 in sponsorship money together with a large amount of food and presented it to the Foodbank dressed as Superheroes. Thank you to the children, staff, families and friends who so generously supported this event.
Special thanks also go to the residents of The Grange and Kings Grange community and the Manchester Football Association for their generous donations through our Just Giving page.
